My Peak Challenge
A global movement dedicated to educating and inspiring its members to live healthier, happier, and more balanced lives while raising funds to change lives.
Founded by philanthropist and Outlander star Sam Heughan, My Peak Challenge offers its community a fully integrated training, nutrition and support program to help members reach their goals. The 12-month course develops a foundation for creating mind, body and lifestyle improvements and is fully adaptable to any level of expertise.
How does it work?
My Peak Challenge is rooted in the belief that we can all effect positive change in our lives while helping others.
It's about reaching outside of your comfort zone, finding something that you don’t think you can do, setting a challenge, preparing for it and ultimately achieving it. No matter what the challenge, the belief is that empowerment is born through achieving something you never thought you could.
Most people interpret that as a physical challenge — walk a 5K, train for a triathlon, go hiking, climb a mountain — but many others set creative challenges: finish writing that book, take up painting again, play a new instrument or speak a new language. No matter what the challenge, the belief is that empowerment is born through achieving something you never thought you could.
What your membership will fund
Since its inception in 2015 MPC has raised in excess of a staggering £700,000. This money has funded an exciting clinical trial which is testing a promising way to treat one of the most aggressive forms of blood cancer, acute myeloid leukaemia. The continued support is now helping to fund a research group at Newcastle University who are collaborating with scientists across the globe to help shape the way we treat childhood leukaemia.
