If you're planning to add Blood Cancer UK to an existing Will, we recommend you use a trusted solicitor and the below wording:
“I give to BLOOD CANCER UK, of 5-11 Theobalds Road, London, WC1X 8SH, Registered charity number 216032 (England & Wales) SC037529 (Scotland), [______% of my estate] or [the sum of £___________ ], to be used for general charitable purposes absolutely and I declare that the receipt of the Treasurer or duly authorised officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge.”

The different types of gift you can leave
Why not donate a percentage of your estate?
Leaving a percentage of your estate to Blood Cancer UK is known as a residuary gift.

Leave us a fixed sum
Alternatively, you can specify an amount to be left, such as £1,000. This is also known as a pecuniary gift, where every single penny will be used to pave the way to beating blood cancer.
Pass on a treasure
You can also choose to leave us a rare book, a painting, a piece of jewellery or even your house. This gift from your family could make sure that families in the future are supported.
