Become an Ambassador and Support Our Vital Work
What you’ll do:
Key activities include
- Share your story and experience at high profile events
- Represent Blood Cancer UK through TV, radio or press interviews, and other media opportunities
- Share your story through our health information, website and social media channels
- Engage with our social media content and campaigns to help raise awareness.

Note: Media and public speaking training will be provided for this role.
What you’ll bring
Our Ambassadors are a dedicated community from across the UK, united by a personal connection to blood cancer and a shared commitment to beating it. They use their voices, experiences, and networks to raise awareness, inspire action, and make sure the needs and stories of people affected by blood cancer are heard. Through their advocacy and engagement, they help us strengthen relationships with the wider blood cancer community and the public.

FAQs: Volunteering as an Ambassador
This is an unpaid volunteer role. Blood Cancer UK reimburses reasonable, pre-approved out-of-pocket expenses in line with our Volunteer Expenses Policy.
Activities may take place both in person (for example, at events or on information stands) and online.
For online activities, you’ll need access to a computer or tablet with an internet connection and the ability to join meetings via Teams or Zoom.
