Over 40,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with blood cancer each year. By joining a Community Group, you’ll help raise funds, spread awareness, and support those affected - all in your local area.

What you’ll do

  • Help organise and run fundraising events.
  • Share ideas to keep things fresh and engaging.

FAQs: Volunteering as a Community Group Member

The minimum age for this role is 18.

Supporting as a Community Group Member is an unpaid role, but you can claim pre-approved volunteer expenses.

This role is completely flexible—give as much or as little time as you can. Typically, it may involve a few hours a month.
