Your clinical knowledge and experience are essential to helping us get our health information right. By sharing your insight, you play a direct role in ensuring people affected by blood cancer receive clear, reliable and current information.

"I was happy to help as I think it is important for patients to be given up to date information expressed in way that is easily comprehensible, and I felt that I could make a worthwhile contribution towards that goal"

Why your expertise matters

Working with us to co-create patient information gives you the opportunity to:

  • Ensure medical content is up to date and aligned with best clinical practice.
  • Advocate for clear information that supports and complements the conversations you have with patients every day.
  • Shape resources that reflect real patient needs, this includes addressing questions they ask, concerns they raise and the challenges they face at every stage of their care.

We value your contributions and we recognise this by acknowledging your support on both our digital and printed health information.

What you'll do

The level of involvement varies by project, but can include:

  • Reviewing draft content to ensure clinical accuracy, clarity and alignment with best practice.
  • Talking to a member of our health information team about your experience and sharing insight from patient care.
  • Highlighting gaps or opportunities of improvement.
  • Taking part in an online workshop.
  • Giving your feedback on information by email

Your time and experience are valuable, and we’ll always be clear about what’s involved before you take part.

Let us know you're interested

We'd love to work with healthcare professionals who want to help shape clear and trusted information for people affected by blood cancer.

How to get involved

  • Register your interest and answer a few short questions about your role and areas of expertise.
  • We'll contact your when relevant opportunities arise.
  • You choose when and how you get involved, based on your availability.

Registering your interest doesn't commit you to anything. It simply lets us know you'd like to hear about future opportunities to get involved.

"Becoming an expert reader allows me to participate in the content of these leaflets and I can feel more informed about what I am handing to patients. My main focus is to have quality products for the patients and their families I see every day."
