"The most difficult time in ours lives has made us cherish these moments even more. We openly discuss talking about daddy being poorly and it’s no longer a taboo in our family. Rob has been able to take our youngest, Boden, to London for the first time and go to the emirates stadium – something I never thought would happen a year ago.

Myself and Rob have become way stronger than we knew. In sickness and in health really sticks to us from ours vows and here we are stronger than ever. The beach will always be our home – something we could rarely do whilst Rob was going through chemo, but it’s our favourite time as a family."

"When I was in the ward I would sing a lot and the nurses would listen outside my room and applaud. I also sang from my hospital bed on the hospital radio lollipop, so being able to do my own tour of my original music really was a dream come true and a moment I’ll remember and be grateful for forever. It was so special and such an amazing experience. Definitely an experience little me would’ve dreamed of!"

Since his treatment for lymphoma ended, Osvaldo has set up home in Kent, started a new charity career, proposed to his partner Leonie at a waterfall in the Amazon in 2023, and married in 2024!

“I have science — and something unusual — to thank for the fact I am still here. But we need to keep investing in research for treatments that will beat blood cancer but will also be gentler with fewer long-term consequences.”

"My dad got me my first keyboard, and started my love of music. He'd sit front row at my concerts, always proud. In July 2025, my dad was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. I played one of my biggest shows of my life shortly after. But he was too unwell to leave hospital. It was my first concert without him. My dad died on the 12th November 2025. There have been so many moments I wished I could tell him about. My music, my career. He should have been here for all of it."
