UK Blood Cancer Research Network
The UK Blood Cancer Research Network (UKBCRN) is a multidisciplinary, supportive leadership group, setting and driving the UK blood cancer research agenda.
About the UKBCRN
Welcome to the UK Blood Cancer Research Network (UKBCRN). As a member of the UK Collaborative for Cancer Clinical Research (UK3CR), the UKBCRN will ensure that the UK is a world leader in the development and conduct of cancer clinical research. The network provides strategic oversight of the blood cancer clinical research portfolio, identifying and setting research priority areas, as well as providing a platform for collaboration, capacity building and coordination between the UK and international groups and industry.
Network aims
The overarching aim of the Network is to improve outcomes for people with blood cancer by:
- Facilitating participation in clinical trials through both:
- development of new high-quality clinical trials for funding applications and
- supporting UK and global trials delivery within the UK where appropriate.
- Producing high-quality practice-changing research outputs resulting from the Network’s activities.
Research groups
The UKBCRN has two research groups, the Haemato-Oncology Research Group and the Lymphoma Research Group. Each research group is home to a number of study groups and working groups.
