Starting a local Community Group is a really great way to raise vital funds to support blood cancer research and those affected by blood cancer, whilst also meeting new people and having lots of fun!

It doesn't have to mean lots of people or lots of hours, every single person and every penny raised can make a huge difference in bringing us closer to help beat blood cancer. From putting out collection tins in local shops, holding bucket collections in supermarkets or hosting your own fundraising events, our friendly Regional Relationships Team will help and guide you every step of the way. Our Medway Fundraising Group has raised over £108,000 since being set up over 20 years ago. We are always looking for more fundraisers in the area, so please get in touch if you're interested in being involved.

The Group was founded in 1972 and over that time has raised over £500,000. Along with fundraising, the Group is very keen to raise awareness of blood cancer in the local community.

The Branch was set up over 30 years ago and is very active in the Tunbridge Wells area. They have raised over £150,000 in that time.

Our Horsham Branch was set up over 25 years ago, after the loss of a family friend. The Branch is very active in the community, hosting open garden events, street collections and a very popular bridge drive. The Gibraltar Branch was formed in 1984 and have been fundraising to beat blood cancer

ever since. They are a very active branch and each year facilitate and host a range of events including their well-attended Afternoon Tea and annual Gibraltar Walks to beat Blood events, bringing together hundreds of people from across Gibraltar to raise funds and awareness. The branch has raised over £368,000 during their 40 years of partnership. If you'd like to get involved with future events, please get in touch.

The Guildford and District Branch have a strong presence in their community raising

money in the local area with events such as art exhibitions and local lunches. They have raised over £365,000 since their founding in 1995. They have some exciting fundraising plans for the year ahead and show no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The Branch is always looking for new people to join them. Whether you'd like to get involved on a regular basis or just help out whenever you can, please get in touch.

Our Crawley Borough Community Group formed in 2020. We are always looking for more fundraisers in the area, so please get in touch if you're interested in being involved.

Our Brentwood, Hutton and Billericay Branch started in 1965 and the active committee organises a range of fundraising events each year. Their fundraising total stands at over £1.2 million and they're keen to hear from you if you'd like to get involved.

Started in 1991, our Newbury Fundraising Group works with the West Berkshire Classic Vehicle Club to raise money to beat blood cancer. Organising an annual Classic Vehicle Show in August is the Group's main focus. To date they have raised over £300,000.

Started in 1987, our Marlow Branch organises fundraising collections. Their last one raised an almighty £1792.48, bringing their fundraising total to just over £74,000. If you'd like to support a future street collection please get in touch.

Our Ware and District Branch was formed in 1964, the dedicated committee continues to organise regular fundraising collections in the area and has raised over £365,000.

Started in 1996, our Southend Branch has raised over £1million, with much of this incredible amount raised at the Southend Bikeathon event.

Our Jersey Branch has raised an incredible £1.1 million since they formed in 1979. The Branch organises three large events in Jersey - a Kids Triathlon, a Golf Day and an Opera Evening, raising a fantastic £30,000 to £40,000 each year, but are always looking at new opportunities to fundraise. Our new Worthing Community Group was formed in 2022 and they have been busy organising a great portfolio of fundraising events, including a local Walk of Light. If you would like to get involved in any events, please get in touch.
