Online course for haemato-oncology
Our free online learning course introduces healthcare professionals to haemato-oncology concepts to help them better manage the care of people with blood cancer. Whether you're a nurse or have just qualified as a haematologist, our course has something for everyone.
Course details
Cost: The course is free.
Type of learning: It involves individual learning that you can do at your own pace, and knowledge test quizzes after which you will receive a certification of completion.
Length of course: We estimate that the course will take five hours to complete in total. You can stop and start at any time and save your progress.
Certification: Once the course is complete, you can update your Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The course can also be used for Written Reflective Accounts for NMC revalidation.
Overview of modules: Over 11 modules, our course provides a basic understanding of what blood cancers are, signs and symptoms to look out for during treatment provision, a healthcare professional's role in managing emergency or non-emergency situations and the intricacies of holistic nursing care for blood cancer patients.

Course requirements
A basic understanding of haematology is required to get the most out of this course. You must complete a series of assessment questions throughout the course as well as the pre and post-course evaluation to receive your CPD certificate of completion.
