CML symptoms and tests
Some people with chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) will experience symptoms before getting a diagnosis, but not everyone will have them or notice anything. Read our information about the symptoms you may have and the tests you will need.
Symptoms of CML
Some people notice symptoms before they are diagnosed with CML, but others don't. Everyone is different, and you may have a different experience to someone else you know with CML.

Tests before and after diagnosis
You’ll have a series of tests to confirm that you have CML. If you are diagnosed, you’ll then have some more tests to help your hospital team decide which is the best treatment for you.
