Walk your own distance and in your own time to beat blood cancer.
Set yourself a distance goal which you want to complete, and a timeframe to finish it in. We’ve come up with some ideas to get you started, so why not take on one of these virtual walks?
- A mile a day: Walk one mile everyday for one month at home – in your garden, driveway, up the stairs or around the house.
- Walk 10,000: Pledge to walk 10,000 steps every day for one month for Blood Cancer UK.
- Virtual Three Peaks Challenge: Climb the height on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon and walk 48,000 steps or 37km in one week.
- Virtual Kilimanjaro Trek: Take on a tough challenge and walk the Machame route virtually, the most popular path on Mount Kilimanjaro. This will see you walk 55,000 steps or 42km in one week.
JustGiving have now teamed up with Strava so you can track the distance you complete and share this on your JustGiving page so your supporters can see your progress.
Just £100 could fund one of our Health Information Editors for a week, to create print and online information that helps people understand their diagnosis and live well with blood cancer.
